The Red Swan

Long time no post. Work has been keeping me busy, for the past few months however i've been working on this project on my free time for my portfolio. It's based on a native american folklore titled "The Red Swan," and i am happy to be able to finally post it up in it's entirety. Thanks for looking!

landscape painting studies

Some studies from paintings by the russian artist Kuindzhi. Really enjoyed his colors and his almost graphical apporach to his landscape paintings.

Studies i did of swan/bird anatomy in order to build up my confidence before i tackle a concept and design the creature.

Some old work from my Baba Yaga project. A couple years old it was my rendition of a Russian folklore in an African setting.
